Best Part of the whole upgrade is Enabling the HTML 5 in OBIEE 11.1.1.9 :
HTML 5 makes generating charts faster & NOPE no need of any flash plugin
To Enable HTML 5, follow below instructions
Edit InstanceConfig.xml and add under Views, add DefaultWebImageType and reminder that it is case sensitive. Use html 5
. . . <Charts> <DefaultWebImageType>html5</DefaultWebImageType> </Charts> </Views>
