30th June Longest Day of 2015

  June 30th Gets an Extra  Leap Second since Earth's Rotation is Slowing Down.



So What is a LEAP Second: 

Its is a one-second adjustment that is occasionally applied to  UTC time (i.e Coordinated Universal Time)  in order to keep its time of day close to the mean solar time.

What is Causing LEAP Second : 

Slowing of Earth rotation, so these has to adjusted and we Adjust by adding an extra second to that day in every 3 years.
